Ingredients
- 2-3 pounds Alaska King Crab legs, frozen or thawed
- 2-3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2-3 teaspoon seafood spice blend
Directions
- Prep Crab
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat (450F)
- Rinse frozen Alaska King Crab legs under cold running water to remove any ice glaze; pat dry with paper towels.
- For each pound of crab use 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 teaspoon of seafood spice.
- Blend olive oil and seasoning.
- Place crab legs on an 18-inch piece of heavy duty foil and pour or brush oil blend onto legs.
- Lay another foil sheet over crab and thoroughly crimp edges to seal, leaving room for heat circulation inside.
- Cook Crab
- To cook, slide foil bag onto heated grill and cook 8-10 minutes for frozen crab or 4 minutes for thawed crab
- Smoky Variation
- Soak wood chips (Alder, Cedar, Apple, ect.) in water for 30 minutes; drain.
- Add chips to coals.
- Grill rinsed and dried crab legs on baking sheep until crab is heated through.
